A database of folk artists, archives, and researchers. This database is intended for use by public programmers, and provides important information on the rich and diverse folk artists of Louisiana. 

This site and the database are maintained by the Louisiana Regional Folklife Program at Northwestern State University. The database was developed under the direction of the Louisiana Folklife Center in Natchitoches, Louisiana, an agency of Northwestern State University, and was supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Louisiana State Arts Council, and the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation, and Tourism.
